So Beat

I suppose I'm typing this as more of a commitment to myself. This blog will not cease!

As of this moment I am sitting at my kitchen table enjoying a glass of white zin whilst eating dark chocolate and strawberries. I just feel so mature!

I have worked two, 12 hour days in a row. My poor little footsies hurt.
But that's alright because I made money. All of the people at my tables (I'm the cliche waitressing actress) were being really generous! Thank you to all of the lovely people out there who tip their servers well, especially when it's deserved!

Needless to say I am exhausted. So I will leave you with the quote off of my Dove Chocolate wrapper:

"The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is to praise and celebrate."

A few things I praise and celebrate:
My family- they can be 8 different shades of crazy, but I am the most loved person in the universe!

My boyfriend- I'm a cynical skeptic. Truly someone who never thought she could fall in love some dude. My idea of marriage went something like: you find someone you tolerate and try not to vomit after you've spent 5 years with them. Since I started dating David I have learned how incorrect that is. It's so cliche but it really is true that when you find the person you'll know. He's the present God ever gave me.

My theatrical talent- If you're an actor you get it. It's amazing. It's true I havent been harnessing and perfecting this talent like a should, but it's still such an amazing thing to posess. Kind of gives me an edge in the 'being radiant' department.

My faith: Sometimes it's stronger than others, but my faith got me through the darkest time in my life and I know it won't fail no matter what other darkness lies ahead.

I could list more things but I am so fricking tired! And wine does nothing but make my limbs feel heavier.
Ugh my fingers have a hard time lifting to tap the keys.

So tell me: what do you celebrate in life? It better darn well be SOMETHING cus if you don't celebrate anything you'll be so miserable and the odds are you'll be making others miserable right along with you.
Find soemthing you love. Rejoice in it! Rejoice PERIOD! Joy is such a precious gift and we throw it in the junk pile as if we can get it anywhere.

Goodnight all you wonderful people!

Namaste,
E.M.G.
