Kind of Good bye

I'm leaving for vacation to Nags Head, North Carolina tonight! WooHOO!! I will not be communicating with the techincal world (cept for maybe through instagram) because it is my time to relax. Also I'll be with my boyfriend and his family. He hates when I'm in virtual land.
Does no one else think our fixation with technology is officially insane? People got along just fine in before blogs, twitter, facebook, and the digital age of social networking in general.
But I'm going to step off that soap box before I even get started.

I'm still leaving you all with a few posts to look forward to. Perhaps some awesome series posts will ensue!

This is my fortune cup. I obtained the cup from the cafeteria at GSA (Governor's School for the Arts) then I had everyone in my class sign it. When I got home I wouldn't was it for fear all the signatures would wash off so it sat there empty. Until the day I started collecting fortunes.
I'll pick one out of the cup and see what kind of things it inspires me to write.



My good friend got me this for Christmas! It is really stinking cool. Nothing helps you get to know yourself like destroying a book. Honestly destroying books goes against everything my nature. There is simply no reason to defile the written word. Unless of course someone is asking you to.

So join me on the journey of my first (probably only) book mutilation!

Hopefully I'll be getting more out to my many adoring fans and readers (said with sarcasm), but I'm happy knowing that you'll at least be getting these two.

I may even have a picture of me stabbed through the heart to show you all :)

One more thing! I have this really cool app on my snazzy iPhone that gives me writing prompts. It'll give me a subject or a starting line and I can write whatever I want using that prompt. It's awesome.
