Just like the Sun

This post is a tribute to my late boyfriend, David. Who, as you can see, had his head torn off by a spider monkey right in front of me. He was a wonderful person and he will be dearly missed.

Guess that means I'm back on the market! So I suppose this post is also an advertisement.

I'm terribly sorry for having waited so long before posting but I gotta tell you it isn't going to get better. I really want to keep writing and that includes the blog but I just won't have as much time due to school.
I do not know if any of you have had an anatomy class before but I gotta let you know: It is NOT something you can hope to pass by glancing over the material. I consider myself a bright person but this was knocking me on my ass every day. So I had to buckle down.
The class has been condensed so it's only half a semester long. I will have a test for the same class literally 3 days classes in a row.
I'm not whining I'm just re-prioritizing. Which means the time spent on blogging gets cut.
Or maybe just the time spent planning out my blogs gets cut. It's titled 'I am Erin Michele Gabbard' so maybe it's not like I've pigeon holed myself into constantly needing to talk about acting.

What definitely won't be happening is that bracket I mentioned last time. The plan was to watch every single new fall show this year and then make a bracket like march madness. Do you have any idea how much time that would've required me to watch and analyze television? Probably close to a full time job. No thank you :)


Moving on! I have thought of a character that I want to play one day. This is in line with my goal of creating an amazing blonde female character.
The whole movie will be called 'Phoenix'. (No this isn't some Jean Grey reject plot line.)
It's a concept that comes from Doctor Who. I really love the idea of such a wise old character that still has their youth. So the Phoenix would be a creature that embodies this, but instead of being a bird it will be a woman. Who has been doing the whole 'rising from the ashes' thing for hundreds maybe thousands of years. She has also been hunted for many of those years. Because she's got this awesome power and people think they can harness it. Isn't that always what it's about? Someone taking someone else's power? Why must everyone be so greedy?

Anyhoo that's as far as I've gotten. Now someone needs to write a feature length script and cast me.

Also I tried a braid today!

My sister actually had to do it for me but I loved it and it reminded me of a Buffy episode. Ten points to whomever can guess which episode!
